Tucson, AZ – The EAP Institute is pleased to announce the 27th Annual EAP Conference and Training Institute “Managing the Performance, Safety and Health Risks of Employee Drug Use” which will take place on Thursday 21st September 2006 at the Stillorgan Park Hotel, Dublin, Ireland. This Conference will be co-sponsored by the Jorgensen /Brooks Group USA.

The conference will feature the latest research and practices from several nations addressing employee drug use and management interventions. Programs will include: effective drug & alcohol policy, the impact of employee assistance programs, management training techniques, and critical approaches to employee drug testing.

Additional tracks will cover current topics such as childcare, eldercare, and work/life practice linkages in Europe. Organisational Support Services (OSS) development in Europe and EAP research in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States will also be addressed.

A panel of a distinguished practitioners, lecturers, and academics from Ireland, the European Union, and the US will address the conference, including Randy Brooks, MA, LPC, CEAP, Vice-President of Jorgensen/Brooks Group (Tucson, AZ, USA) and member of the board of the international Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA).

The 27th Annual EAP Conference and Training Institute will be co-hosted by Donald G. Jorgensen, Ph.D., CEAP, President of Jorgensen/Brooks Group and past-president of EAPA international.
