Workplace Crisis Response
The more quickly and effectively an employer responds to a workplace crisis or traumatic event, the sooner that productivity returns to normal – and the higher employees rate the organization’s level of support.
When a traumatic event impacts your employees and your workplace, Jorgensen Brooks Group Employee Assistance Program (EAP) quickly responds with experienced, effective crisis response professionals. JBG trauma response team will help guide your organization’s response to an ongoing crisis as the situation evolves and evaluate the need for specific response services on an ongoing basis.
Critical Incident Defusing - provided within 8 hours of incident
Immediately following an incident, those affected may feel emotionally volatile or fragile. An EAP/critical incident team member will conduct an onsite defusing to provide a safe, structured setting for victims and those directly impacted by the traumatic event to receive immediate support and assistance.
Trauma Response Debriefing
The purpose of any Trauma Response Debriefing is to assess, stabilize, and support those individuals directly impacted as a result of a workplace-related traumatic event or critical incident. It is designed to help minimize, to the greatest degree possible, negative disruption to the lives of individual employees and to the work life of the organization. Service may include:
- Customized trauma/crisis response for management and employees.
- Individualized crisis intervention services for employees
- Team resiliency building (see below)
